I know.....it's been a while since I last wrote anything. We've been pretty busy! We started Laura in Kindermusik classes two weekends ago. It is an eight-week course on Saturday mornings. You sing songs and do activities with the kids. One of the activities that Laura really likes is shaking the bells to a song.  She has really been enjoying the classes, which is good because the songs could drive a sane person nuts! She really loves music and will "dance" to music. Baby dancing is quite fun to watch. This past week, Laura gave hugs to the other babies in the class. It was really cute!

As promised, we finally got a video of Laura walking! Enjoy! We think that she figured out that she can get places faster by walking instead of crawling. Her first instinct is to walk, though she is still inclined to sit down and crawl.

One of her other new tricks is crawling up and down our stairs. She is amazingly good at it and LOVES it. She is better at going up the stairs, but she's getting more solid with going down. We have to make sure the baby gates are shut because otherwise you turn around and she's in the entryway crawling around. I was folding her laundry yesterday and had forgotten to shut the baby gate. Andy was in the family room. He heard giggling and turned around to find her sitting in the entryway.

Andy and I are in for a busy week and then it is two weeks of nothing! Laura's daycare is closed September 17-September 28 for their yearly vacation. We decided to just take that two weeks off and relax. We are both really looking forward to it immensely as life has been pretty hectic.
